We were so pleased with our "D" Litter, we decided
to back up a generation and breed Max to Brook's mother, River. The three puppies in River's first litter all attained
their AKC championships and one in her third litter is finished with one more in the ring now and half-way
there. One of River's offspring has attained their Schutzhund B and a tracking title, with another actively training
for the same. We weren't disappointed in this breeding, with some of our best temperaments yet. One girl is
a
Search and Rescue and the other two
were trained for home protection.

Max was bred in Germany by one of the most successful working
kennels in that country. Four of Max's littermates competed in the 2004 BLSP in Germany and 5 of the top 10 dogs
were owned or bred by Hatzbachtal Kennel. Max's dam finished 3rd out of the 27 dogs entered. Max is a high drive dog but is a very stable and loving companion as well.
He currently has his SchH1 title and is in training for his II. Additionally he has received a Score of 3 for the Koerung
test (most desirable rating on a scale of 1 to 5). The Koerung tests for courage, stability, and overall soundness
of temperament. We're proud of our boy!
